the end of an era

I had a chance this weekend to go Fort Collins to see some LA friends. Their feature film, Coyote, was showing at a film festival there this weekend. It was so great to see them again, and i am so proud of them- The audience loved it and loved them, and i am so excited to see them succeed.

One of the guys kept saying that it was the end of an era, no more Sarah in LA, and no more Miriam- she just moved to Oregon this weekend. Times are changing, but we had a great run. I'll look back on my time in LA as one of the best in my life. It's a great city, I made great friends, and we had some great times!

It's sad to think that there are people that have been such a big part of your life that you may never see again. And then there are those, whose friendship will last a lifetime, no matter where you are. I am grateful for all the friends that I've had in my life, for however long I get you!

I'm glad you got to see the guys and go to the film fest. We missed all of you at the Miriam Farewell. And you are so right...an era has ended. I'm curious to see how the next couple decades turn out.
We have Denver on our list of potential places. Maybe we'll pay you a visit one of these days!
