i spent a long weekend in new york. it rained. i seem to be cursed, it rains everywhere i go this year. but, it hasn't stopped me yet. we spent the day doing a little shopping and a lot of eating.

we got tickets to see Mary Poppins. liked it, didn't love it. nothing beats julie andrews and the dancing penguins.











it seems that on saturday the curse was broken. it was a beautiful the day. a perfect day for a baseball game- complete with hot dogs, coke, and candy. we went to the yankees/mets game (we got free tickets, which made it even better). it is the last year they play at the old stadium... and the yankees lost.










the necessary "times square picture" gotta have one every time i go. it's my least favorite part of new york.

and what better way to spend a sunday than at a museum (we got the sunday afternoon lethargy and had to take a rest) and joining the aids walk?
